Steven Harulow offers one-to-one personal training and nutrition advice to help anyone who wants to regain or improve their health and fitness.

Here’s a bit of background. Steven worked for 16 years as a registered nurse in Manchester, London and Melbourne. He has a specialist qualification and considerable experience in burns and plastic surgery nursing and rehabilitation. In addition, he has health-specific writing and editorial skills and was the editor of two national professional membership magazines in the UK and Australia.

Exercise referral

As a level 3 personal trainer with exercise referral qualifications and experience, Steven provides personal training for clients who have a range of specific lifestyle-related medical conditions, including:

  • Obesity
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Osteoporosis
  • Osteo and rheumatoid arthritis
  • Chronic respiratory conditions, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • Stress, anxiety and depression.

Cancer rehabilitation

Steven also has a level 4 qualification and experience in cancer rehabilitation, particularly with younger people who have had or are undergoing cancer interventions.

The latest evidence shows that right amount of exercise before, during and after cancer treatment can greatly help individuals to overcome fatigue, lose weight and improve their quality of life. Steven’s nursing knowledge and skills when combined with his personal training experience gives him a definite advantage when it comes to helping anyone who has had a diagnosis of cancer.

Steven has the knowledge, skills and abilities to design and instruct exercise programmes that are safe, effective and tailored to your needs and goals.

Steven works in the Lewisham, Blackheath and Greenwich areas. In these times of Covid-19 restrictions he can deliver sessions online, or face-to-face in your garden or a public park.
